For this new product launch, Nathan Skrove, VP of Product Development, and his team designed 1,250 new products within 13 themes, including 10 featuring Seasonal styles and 3 celebrating the warmth of fall. These welcoming themes include containers, candles, wall décor, lush greenery, faux foliage, Christmas ornaments, textiles, novelty lighting, and accessories in a variety of styles to complement every design preference. “We really had fun creating these new products. One of our themes, Sullivans No. 55, is a glamorous Seasonal theme full of embellishment and glitz created as a nod to Sullivans’ upcoming 55th anniversary, and right in line with current consumer trends,” says Skrove.
In addition to these versatile themes, Sullivans has expanded its outdoor and garden line, Woodstock Elements, to include a nice assortment of Seasonal lighting. “Consumers can choose from over a dozen lighted Seasonal items ranging from oversized ornaments to Christmas deer to yard stakes in various Holiday themes. This accessible lighting extends Holiday decorating options to the outdoors,” adds Skrove.
Woodstock Elements’ expansion is great news for retailers. Sullivans' annual consumer survey indicates that 82% of consumers are looking to enhance their outdoor space in an effort to create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. These robust lighting options expand that atmosphere into the Holiday season.
Sullivans’ 2023 Seasonal Collection also joins the release of specialty products including an array of new scented candles from artisan, Vance Kitira, new home fragrances featuring wax melts and scent charms from Candle Impressions, and a line of impressionistic landscape artwork from the Darren Gygi Home Collection, all an impressive expansion to Sullivans’ existing lines.
Our Vance Kitira candles have long been a crowd favorite,” says Tawni Buhler, Director of Marketing at Sullivans. “This new release is particularly noteworthy because we’ve competitively entered the scented-candle category with a luxury candle at an accessible price point.” Like all Vance Kitira candles, these new additions are meticulously crafted and hand-finished from wick to wax. Their main ingredient is soy wax, which ensures that they are eco-friendly, without chemical amplifiers, and gives a well-balanced, long-lasting scent throw. “Our goal is to help our customers create a sanctuary space. To do so, we partnered with renowned fragrance houses to bring our customers the most high-quality, sought-after scents,” continues Buhler. These new scented candles are available in six varieties including citrus, floral, and deep, rich scents, and are poured into a reusable glass vessel that will complement any style of décor.
Sullivans will officially launch their 2023 Holiday Collection on Monday, December 12th, 2022 via their Virtual Market.
